"VIP" status in Angewandte Chemie for worldwide-unique method developed at HI ERN
The Electrosynthesis team publishes a "Very Important Paper" in the leading chemistry journal Angewandte Chemie
A new manuscript was published by the Team Electrosynthesis in the worldwide leading chemistry journal Angewandte Chemie. The manuscript presents the team's newly developed, internationally unique method for the detection of electrochemical reaction products at the time they are formed. The paper with title Electrochemical real-time mass spectrometry (EC-RTMS) - monitoring electrochemical reaction products in real time, was published as a Very Important Paper (VIP), after its excellent evaluation from the reviewers and the editorial board. Less that 5% of Angewandte Chemie manuscripts receive such a positive evaluation. The communication was featured at the front cover of Angewandte Chemie at the issue that the manuscript was published, and was additionally highlighted in Nature Catalysis (Products in real time) and in ChemistryViews (Monitoring reaction products in real time). More details about this flagship technique and the activities of the Electrosynthesis team in general, can be found on the team's webpage.
