Face-to-face with Nobel Laureate and poster prize for PhD-Student Susanne Wachs

HI ERN PhD-Student Susanne Wachs receives poster prize and congratulates this year's Nobel Laureate in Chemistry!

It was 09.10.2019, when Stanley Whittingham received a phone call from Sweden at the Congress „Advanced Lithium Batteries for Automobile Applications ABAA 12“ in Ulm to find out that he had been awarded this year's Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Numerous scientists, politicians and business representatives were able to experience this goose-bump moment and congratulate him personally. Among them was our HI ERN PhD-student Susanne Wachs from the "Nonaqueous Electrochemistry" team. She presented a poster in Ulm that shows the current state of her research "On-Line Investigation of the Stability of Electrode Materials in Lithium Ion Batteries by means of a Scanning Flow Cell". In the end, after the poster presentations, Susanne Wachs convinced the committee and won one of this year's poster prizes, including a certificate and a recognition award from the International Society of Electrochemistry.
