Dr. Ian Marius Peters was awarded the Hamakawa award at the 31st International Photovoltaic Science and Engineering Conference (PVSEC) in Sydney, Australia.

Dr. Ian Marius Peters was awarded the Hamakawa award at the 31st International Photovoltaic Science and Engineering Conference (PVSEC) in Sydney, Australia. The Hamakawa award was established by the WCPEC-6 Organizing Committee in 2014 to honour the outstanding contributions of Emeritus Professor, Yoshihiro Hamakawa (Osaka Univ.) to photovoltaic science and technology development. The purpose of the award is to recognize scientists and engineers who have made outstanding research and technological accomplishment and creativity of PV energy conversion (new concepts, new materials and new devices). Previous recipients include professors Nam Gyu Park and Armin G. Aberle.
