Save the date: 3rd SolarTAP Industry Day

Lighter, more flexible and customisable: the Solar TAP innovation platform develops innovative solutions for photovoltaic applications. At the 3rd SolarTAP Industry Day, everything will revolve around the focus topic "Agri-PV": In addition to an Agri-PV focus workshop and a tour of the Agri-PV demonstration plants at Forschungszentrum Jülich, the programme will be rounded off by keynote speeches, the further development of the roadmap and intensive networking.

Save the date! The full agenda and further information will follow shortly.

The SolarTAP innovation platform (short for "Solar Technology Acceleration Platform for emerging Photovoltaics") offers industrial partners several opportunities for cooperation in the field of "multi-benefit" photovoltaics and the associated material, manufacturing and measurement technologies in order to accelerate the transfer of technology from the laboratory to industry.

Are you an industry representative and interested in taking part? Please get in touch with us by E-Mail. We look forward to lively participation and active networking!

SolarTAP is a joint project of the Helmholtz centers Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZJ), Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin (HZB) and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Within Solar TAP, these centers will link their world-leading infrastructures for the development of "multi-benefit" photovoltaics and make them accessible to members of an industrial network to jointly carry out research and development projects according to a roadmap developed within the network.

Solar TAP's novel collaboration model is expected to result in faster and more flexible processing of projects, and faster transfer of technologies from the laboratory to the market - along the entire value chain.

The project "Solar TAP - A Solar Technology Acceleration Platform for Multi-Benefit Photovoltaics" was selected as an innovation platform by the Helmholtz Association for funding from March 2023 and will be funded with 15.1 million euros for a 3-year set-up phase.
