Bachelor/Master Thesis: Investigation of soiling at PV modules

Investigating the transmission and power loss of PV-modules due to soiling

Tasks:

1. Put the new built up test stand for soiling experiments into operation: the construction of the test stand is almost finished, handling and best usage have to be determined
   
2. Performing of soiling tests by using different kinds of dirt to pollute the surface of „just-Glas“ modules and PV modules, measure the transmission, irradiaance and Power indoor as well outdoor
   
3. Performing of first cleaning experiments investigating the changes in transmission, and impact on module power

Our expectations:

Independant working method, hands-on mentality, knowledge in Excel, good analyzing skills

Qualifications:

Student of energy technology, engineering, renewable energy and related fields of study.
